Moon before dawn

I drive to work early in the morning to help open the academy and yesterday I was greated with the most breathtaking sight.  To my back was the Sierra Navadas.  The sun had yet to make its appearance, and to the front, a clear blue sky with just a hint of lightness and the most perfectly shaped moon.  I pulled over to the side of the road and sat watching it.  It has been the most at peace i have felt in quite some time.   I tried to take a photo but my camera just coudln't capture the whole experience.  A few minutes later as i drove east, i was greated by the sun rising from the sierra's.   Has anyone else felt like this?

What do you miss most when you travel?

The security and comfort of my home.  It is a place of peace and security and when I travel everything gets caddywampus and i don't truly relax until i pass through my door.

Do you think more about the past or the future?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 05, 2008:

I tend to look at the future through the pasts eyes.  Meaning, I extrapolate the future through what allready happened.  Corny, but its an honest answer.  I tend to spot trends and then i look at them from all perspectives and that gives me a pretty good read on what im going to do or interact with in the future.

What is the difference between truth and fact?

To me, a fact is an unemotional event, place or thing where truth is a fact that has been enhanced or clouded by emotion.

negative energy

Ive had an underlying negative energy all day today.  I am normally a happy, vibrant person who has an infectious giggle that takes great warmth in making others around me laugh and enjoy the day.  Today, i have laughed, carried on conversations but its cost me more energy then it normaly does.  I have had this strong negative fire that i can't truly contain just beneath my heart.  I have contemplated on this a bit but i can't find a source point or an event chain that explains its creation.  Im hopeing i have a better day tomorrow.
